Fantastic Unit

I only started recently and bought the Lutin as an alternative to the Hawimk bugpin. It is so smooth with the brushless motor, and includes spare parts and small zippered EVA case as well. I like it so much, I ordered the Ambition Korall power supply which is amazing as well.

Pros
Small size at just 3.14" and 4 oz makes it easy to manipulate
Virtually silent with little vibration due to brushless and coreless motor
Size and weight makes it much easier to do detailed work and smooth lines

Cons
None that I can find so far after 2 months of use

I am considering buying a second in black or the Torped next
I really like the Korall power unit combination but may try the Kuark next

I am very impressed with the quality and workmanship of this unit and Ambition as a manufacturer and therefore recommend this unit

Solid machine

Needed another machine but didn’t want to break the bank. This machine stuck out to me and seemed reasonably priced so I gave it a shot. So far I’m very glad I did. I haven’t done a lot of tattoos with it yet but I really like how it performs. Hits hard and lines well. I haven’t done any color packing but it works great for shading. I’m sure it would pack color well too just based on how powerful it feels. Straight out of the box- it feels great in hand. Has some heft which leads me to believe then didn’t skimp out with cheap parts. The battery is universal too which is sweet and the display screen is colorful and bright. Love that I can use an alternative power supply too if needed. Overall, I’m very pleased with this machine so far. Looking forward to doing more work with it. I would recommend this machine to beginners and experienced artists alike. Hopefully it lasts a while.

Update: Still a solid machine but struggles to pack saturated lines well. Have to do at least 2, even 3 passes to get a solid black line, especially as the needle configuration gets bigger. Wouldn’t recommend for linework or packing but it still really good for shading. It’s become a back up shader for me. Definitely not go to. I have the Cheyenne sol nolva 2.0 which is my first pick for shading, and believe it or not, the mast archer is my go to for solid line work. That’s right, who woulda thought. Thing has some punch!

Not bad for price

Was actually impressed for the price of this machine.
Really good for shading. The only thing I dislike is the length of the click grip, it’s to short and makes for a difficult adjustment when machine is wrapped. The battery pack didn’t take long to charge and seems to last a good amount of time.
